POLLED HEREFORDS

Finding good quality females for sale in a TB free area is not an easy task, however we were able to source hand picked 6 in-calf heifers, bred to a son of the Irish bred bull UDEL 1 T62 Webb Ellis, sporting impressive pedigrees and displaying the desirable attributes we had hoped to find.

We feel that we were able to source good conformation heifers that have all developed excellent udders, good feet, great temperaments, and are all superb mothers. We will measure and monitor and strickly cull on a continuing basis, producing top animals required in today’s demanding market place, that maximize feed efficiency, yet produce high quality meat.

Our first calf crop is on the ground and are halter broke and ready to join the herd or our sales barn in the future. We are pleased thus far. We have used AI to introduce bloodlines that will Be the foundation of our Pedigree herd. We believe in planned parenthood. Our Polled Herefords are all Registered with the Hereford Society
